Shane Carwin is a mixed martial artist. He fights in the Heavyweight division of the UFC. Shane Carwin won his first UFC fight at UFC 84. Carwin acted as a sparring partner for Randy Couture in order to help him prepare to fight former NCAA wrestling champion Brock Lesnar for the UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 91
